Town of Bradford – Administrative Assistant (Part – time)

The Bradford Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Administrative Assistant. Under the direction of the Police Chief, duties will include answering the telephone along with a full range of clerical and administrative support functions. Work hours are flexible to meet the departments administrative needs and will generally require a 12-15-hour weekly commitment.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education preferred). Computer skills in Vermont based police computer program systems, ability to communicate with people and politely assist them with their concerns. A valid Driver’s license and U.S. citizenship are also required.

Applicants with desired qualifications will be required to demonstrate their abilities in customer service skills, typing, computer applications and data entry. Finalist for the position will be required to complete an oral interview and a complete background investigation to include a criminal and driver history record check.
