Tie-Dying Activity:
Sunday May 31, 1-3pm, at Elizabeth Park. All ages welcome
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Bring a shirt or handkerchief, socks or linen towel–anything cotton. We have 9 colors of the rainbow of really good dyes. There are 5 t-shirts of each kid-size, and many adult sizes, if you don’t have something to dye, plus some large cotton dish towels. ($3 each to cover cost). Donations welcome to help fund the Bradford Recreation summer kayaking and tennis programs.

EASTMAN TRAILS DAY Sunday, February 8, 2015 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Join us for an exploration of the Eastman Trail System!
Cross country ski clinics for beginners and advanced skiers, naturalist snowshoe hikes, family races, VINS live bird presentation, skating, fat tire bike demos, and events for kids.
Come celebrate winter at one of the premier cross country and winter trails facilities in the region – the Eastman Cross Country Ski Center.
WRIGHTS MOUNTAIN WINTER SNOWSHOE Feb 7, with music at Summer Street Music Series in the evening Saturday, Feb 7 Parks and Recreation is having a snowshoe hike on Wrights Mtn at noon (meet at the Wrights Mountain trailhead on Wrights Mtn Rd at noon).
GIRLS SPORTS DAY invitation Jan 31:
In celebration of National Girls & Women in Sports Day, Dartmouth is excited to host a multi-sport clinic for girls on Saturday, January 31 from 10 a.m.-noon in Leverone Fieldhouse. The event is free, open to all girls in grades K-8, and will give participants the opportunity to learn about and try a variety of sports with instruction from Dartmouth student-athletes and coaches.
Each participant receives a complimentary ticket to the Dartmouth women’s basketball game vs. Yale on Friday, February 6 and the Dartmouth women’s hockey game vs. Yale on Saturday, February 7.

(The Wrights Mountain hike on Nov 9 was fabulous! We would like to have one hike per season, (snowshoeing in the winter)–stay tuned. Come one, come all!
Sunday, Nov 16 PARKS WORK-DAY—VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 11am-3pm, to spread mulch at Elizabeth Park, put away the picnic tables at the waterfall, and build a split rail fence by the gazebo.
Proceeds from the event will support the Bradford Food Shelf
Sunday, November 9, 2014, 11-3pm, Bradford Parks and Recreation is planning a HIKE for all, on Wrights Mountain.
There will be a family hike, as well as a faster, longer active hike. We are planning to have hot chocolate, and hopefully s’mores, and a time to meet with Bonna the new Recreation Director, to talk about recreation activities, your interests, what you like to do, what you would like to see happen.
Please wear orange, or bright colors, and stay on the trails.

We will start the hike at the Wrights Mountain Road access.
